Atlantis Update - July 22, 2004

 

 

1.  A new tab has been added to Setup called Facility Schedule.  You can now
set your Weekly Business Hours.  It will also allow you set days with
multiple times such as Sunday 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Special days (holidays, etc.) that your are closed or open can be set.
There's also an option to set these special dates as annual.   Any date or
time entered into an appointment outside of your normal business hours will
appear in a bright yellow block.

2.  Option now exists for detailed customer receipts with 80 characters of
text available for each charge field.  This feature can be very useful in
those circumstances when just a dollar amount is not adequate and an
explanation of the charge is helpful or necessary. These recepts are in
single column format with every other charge category being shaded as
opposed to your existing three column format.  When entering charges and you
want to add text just double click on the charge field.  A double arrow will
appear in the lower right corner.  Click on it and add your notation.  Any
charge record containing fields with text will show those fields as
underlined.  The text is saved along with the charge record.

the enlarge buton.  View full screen.   These new receipts are a Setup
option.  To select go to into Setup, Global Configuraion, Receipts,
Miscellaneous and check the box that says "Print Receipts With Columns for
Notes".  Do not check any of the other boxes on this page.
Note - these new receipts will print twice as fast on a laser printer as
they will on an inkjet.

3.  Pickup and Delivery Reports can now span a date range.

4.  A correction has been made to the run system that fixed a leap year
problem that occurred when having a pet arrive this year and departing next
year.

5.  A correction has been made to medication charges when a pet had more
than one type of medication and they started on different dates.

6.  A correction has been made to the landscape printing of cage cards that
previously only worked with the Windows default printer.  These can now be
redirected to any printer.

7.  Grooming appointments made from the Groom Preview screen were not
updating on the Groom Preview screen.  This has been corrected.
