Atlantis Update - January 20, 2005
1. Electronic Day Care Passports/Punchcards
Day
Care packages can be pre-sold allowing you to sell packages of 10, 15,
20,
30, etc. Each package can have a specific expiration date or
expire
after a certain number of days. Punches are stored in the Owner
file. As
such they can be applied to all pets within a
family.
Any pet with unexpired punches available will show "Punch Card"
in red in
the basic info section of the client's record. You can
view (or edit) a
client's remaining punches and their expiration dates.
Right click in the
client file and then left click on View Current Punch
Cards. For an example
search the client file for La Barre.
To view someone's punch card history,
go to the Clients tab at top of screen
and click on View Current Punch Card
History. There is a button
(at the bottom right) that will print out the
history.
Punch cards can
be sold three ways:
1. As a POS attached to client's record - click the
list icon on the right
side of POS window (across from date).
2.
After check in, click on the yellow In House Charges tab and then click
on
the list icon at the top of screen next to the key icon.
3. During
Check Out click on the list icon at the bottom of window just
above the key
icon.
Any punch card sold while a pet is checked in for Day Care or
during a Day
Care check out will be applied to that visit.
There are 4
(out of 26 possible) Punch Cards set up in the demo. They are
created
in Setup, Look Ups Configuration, Day Care Punch Cards. These

examples are shown below (and are based upon a single day price of
$30.00).
A. 10 Day Passport, 10 Punches, Expires in 45
days, $275.00
B. 20 Day
Passport, 20 Punches, Expires in 90
days, $500.00
C. 30 Day
Passport, 30 Punches, Expires in 120 days,
$660.00
D. 3 Month Ticket, 92 Punches, Expires
in 92 days, $1,000.00
A pet checked in (with
available punches) will show Day Care charges of
$30.00. At check out
you will also see Punch Card Applied for minus $30.00.
The punches remaining
will automatically be decremented when the check out
is
completed.
2. Pet Name Search Option - You can now
search both the Appointment and
Client files by Pet Name and you can scroll
through these files in Pet Name
order.
3. There is a new Email
Addresses Report that has full parsing capabilities
and can be exported into
Word or Excel.
4. Pre-Checkout receipts will now print
alphabetically.
5. The horizontal bars (in Appointments, Clients,
and Charges) will change
color when you switch to the Archives of that
file.
6. The Remarks field now prints bolder on Normal Stock run
cards.
7. The Status field now prints on Normal Stock run
cards.
8. The multi-run selection routine has been modified to
allow minimum usage
of two nights instead of three.
9. Grooming
codes that were 6 characters long were having the 6th character
dropped from
the Grooming Calendar Report. That has been corrected.
10
Certain mouse/button procedures could accidentally change an owner or
a
pet's last name. This would result in an "Owner Not Found "or a
"Client Not
Found" message. This bug has been destoryed
!
11 Certain telephone area codes or prefixes would not auto
format. This
occurred when the second number of the phone number was
either a zero or a
one. All seven or ten digit phone numbers will now
auto format.
12 The pet's run number has been added to the Delivery
Report.
13. The Active Deposits Report has been
overhauled.
