ATLANTIS UPDATE - DECEMBER 5, 2005

I.D. COLLARS FOR PETS
 
These are black on tough yellow tape and are placed around the pet's neck . 
They contain the pet's name, run number, age, sex, color, if it's on medication,
and if it's scheduled to be groomed.  It also says that "I am guest at " followed
by your facility's name and phone number.  Collars are automatically cut for
lengths of 6 " (for labels), 12", 18", 24", and 30".   The text repeats every 6
inches. The collar dialog box opens when you click on the new Collar icon on
your Atlantis tool bar.  The collar length for each pet is saved and becomes
the default length for that pet for future visits.  For complete information on

PRESENT VALUE OF FUTURE RESERVATIONS

There is a new report showing the present value of your future boarding
reservations and grooming appointments.  It's listed under Reports on
Charges and is called "Future Value of Appts".   It also includes and
itemizes the value of all pre-sold activities and other services.  It can be
run for any future date range.

DAILY INCOME BALANCING

There is a new report for Charges called "Payments for Day".  This is an
income reconciliation report that alphabetically lists all payments for the
day for each pay type.

FORECAST LABOR NEEDS

There is a new Activity report called  "Count of Activities".  It's
purpose is to help forecast future labor needs.  It shows the number of
sessions sold for each activity for a given future date or date range.  It's broken
down further by Morning, Afternoon, and Evening.

PET REPORT CARDS AND LABELS

Report Cards and Report Card Label printing is now available.  These
labels show the Pet's Name,  Last Name,  Breed,  Run Number,  Age,  Arrival
Date, and Departure Date.  These labels can be printed individually by
clicking the Report Card Label icon on the tool bar at the top of your
Appointments and Clients screen.  There is also an option in the Reports
section that allows you to print these labels for all of the days arrivals

and Publisher format are will be provided at no charge to current Atlantis
subscribers.

NEW CUSTOM PAY TYPES

Three new user defined pay types can be added to the Charges
section.  You can now create pay types of Gift Card,  Reward Prg,  Bonus
Cash,  Points,  etc.

ADDITIONAL ENHANCEMENTS INCLUDE

The Facility Schedule has been modified to allow you to enter dates
with non-standard times i.e. Christmas Eve day  7:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

Requests have come from several kennel owners in areas that were
affected by the recent hurricanes to have cell phone numbers added to the
run cards.  It has been done.

In the User Access area a separate password has been added for opening a
cash drawer.

In the User Access area a separate password has been added for doing a
Point of Sale.

In Atlantis multi-user facilities where several users have the same
password level it is now possible for them to minimize their Atlantis
screens as opposed to logging off.  The Atlantis icons on the Start bar will
have the names of all of the logged on users.  An employee returning to that
computer just needs to click on his/her name to bring up their last Atlantis
screen.  For these people it is significantly faster then logging in and
logging off.

On charges subtotals reports Day Care Punch Card sales now appear under
Services sold as opposed to Retail.

Closed days now appear in yellow when using the Groom Preview tab.

There is a new option for feeding that allows you to select House as a
food type.  By so doing you can have the feeding reports print Non-Standard
Feeds Only,  Standard Feeds Only (House), or All Feeds.

Password has been enabled for the Email Addresses List report.

Ghosting of duplicate deposits on duplicated appointments has been
eliminated.

The Avery 2 across mailing labels can now handle a full 40 character
address.  The 3 across mailing label is limited to 36.

A bug existed in certain duplicated activities that would show a date of
1899.  Not anymore !

Extended Remarks now appears on run cards.

Changes have been made to the Mailing System that make it easier to add
or edit inserted fields in existing contracts, post cards, email messages, or form
letters.
